A very beautiful heirloom apple that stores well.
PF Lucky 13 Peach on Nemaguard (Spring 2025)
A large, midseason, freestone peach.
Ripening five days after Redhaven, P.F. Lucky 13 is completely freestone. This variety produces exceptional crops of consistently large (2.75") fruits from an early age. The fruit remains on the tree more than 10 days after maturity, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger, while remaining very firm. Growers around the country give this peach rave reviews. This variety showed strikingly hardy characteristics in Dr. Robert Anderson's wood hardiness tests where temperatures went to -18° F. in January 2004 in Geneva NY.
Any peach variety with PF at the front of its name is a creation of Paul Friday, Michigan peach breeder extraordinaire.
