Glowingstar® Peach on Nemaguard (Spring 2024)

A large, flavorful, late-season peach.

These trees are vigorous and hardy. Glowingstar® shows good resistance to bacterial spot. Fruit thinning is necessary, as peaches crop heavily. Peaches are self-fertile and do not require the presence of a second variety for pollination.

Ripening about 25 days after Redhaven, this is an attractive large peach, 80% dark red over yellow. The fruit is freestone and the flesh does not brown. It is firm and holds well to the tree, making this a great peach for home growers, commercial production, and U-pick farms.

Glowingstar® is a member of the "Stellar" series, all of which have the word "star" in their names, from the private breeding program of Jim Friday in Michigan.
