Tolman Sweet is one of America's oldest apples. As its name suggests, it is very sweet. Almost no sharpness or astringency. It is a rugged variety that is renowned for its longevity. If you like to pickle, boil or bake, this is the apple for you. It is a pretty yellow color and often has a zipper down one side. It makes a very sweet cider. It is productive and annual.
