Soil & Field Preparation
In the pages linked below you will find discussions of common methods for preparing your growing area. If you are a backyard grower with clay soil, you will be most interested in learning about your options for soil amendation. If you are planting a larger area, your preparation is going to be more extensive and may well involve tiling and fencing.
If you intend to fence your growing area or build trellises, you should do your best to complete these projects before your trees arrive.
