This is the first asian pear developed by the University of Minnesota.  It is small for an asian pear, but it's remarkable flavor makes up for its small size.  It is extremely winter hardy.  It is a cross between Shinseiki and Summercrisp and will be pollinated by a wide range of pears, summer crisp being one of them.
