Get 20% Off Pink Lady® Apple Trees with Code 20PINK – the Excellent Australian Dessert Apple that Grows Well in Warm Climates, Perfect for Southern Orchards!
Use coupon code 20PINK at checkout by March 31, 2023!
With a sweet-tart and tropical flavor, this apple is for fresh eating and it is a great salad apple as it does not brown after slicing, like the famous Cortland apple of New York. While Pink Lady® will do just fine in zone 5, we recommend zones 6 and higher for fully ripe fruit; it requires a very long growing season. A low chill hours requirement also make this a great tree for southern states.

Best Disease-Resistant Pears Still in Stock: Bell Pear (New!), Harrow Crisp, Maxine, Cold Snap, and More!
Our 2023 pear tree inventory is down to a couple hundred trees as of today – now is your chance to get pears with great disease-resistance properties.
Bell Pear - NEW! - A delicious and juicy, fireblight resistant pear from the USDA research station in Kearneysville, West Virgnia, home of the top breeders who produced Potomac, Gem, Shenandoah, and Blake's Pride! Ripening about a week before Bartlett, Bell is slightly smaller with yellow skin that is splashed with a pretty, red blush. In taste trials it rates very highly for sweetness, juiciness, and flavor intensity. Bell pear is set to become a popular addition for home growers and commercial production. Stores well for up to five months.
AC™ Harrow Crisp - A modern, self-fertile, fireblight-resistant pear from Canada. The fruit is a very attractive pear, blushed red on smooth yellow skin, slightly larger than Bartlett, with fine and firm cream-white flesh. The flavor is mild and sweet, and it receives very high ratings in taste trials.
Maxine - A great all-purpose, fireblight-resistant pear.
Cold Snap - A cold-hardy, fireblight-resistant pear from Canada.

Balaton® Cherry: The Late-Blooming, Crack-Resistant Tart Cherry with Red Flesh!
Named for a lake in its native Hungary, Balaton® has made a place for itself in home gardens and commercial markets in America with its robust sweet-tart taste.
Amy Iezzoni, Professor of Horticulture at Michigan State University, introduced Balaton® in the USA after traveling to Hungary in the early 1980s in search of pollen and cuttings she could use for breeding a late-blooming – and therefore frost-resistant – tart cherry. Prof. Iezzoni has a couple of favorite Balaton® recipes: Cherry Cream Cheese Cake and Old Fashioned Cold Cherry Soup.

Harogem Apricot: Cold-Hardy Fruit with Great Disease Resistance
A medium-vigor tree with a lovely spreading habit, Harogem is consistently productive and resistant to perennial canker and brown rot. It does not tend to skincracking, nor to pre-harvest drop. This freestone apricot is glossy, firm, and medium sized, with exceptional keeping quality; it will store in refrigeration for two to three weeks.
As horticulurist Bob Purvis explained in Pomona: "The earliest apricots brought to North America were mostly from Spain and similar Mediterranean climates, and they did not include the genes for a broader range of climatic adaptability. Modern breeders have sought out germplasm in many places, including central Asia where the apricot is thought to have originated." One such breeding program is based in Harrow, Ontario, and it has produced the "Harrow Series" of cold-hardy apricots that are suitable for New York and New England.
