Cider Presses

There are two basic styles of cider presses; bladder press and cloth & rack. I’ve used both, and both are great. Cloth and racks are a little cheaper, and it’s also possible to build your own. Bladder presses are pricey, but more versatile. You can press grapes, apples, peaches or tomatoes in a bladder press. We use the Lanceman press and make about 300 gallons a week in it.
