Rainier Cherry on Gisela 12 (Spring 2023)

Rainier is a light sweet cherry of exceptional quality.

Rainier is a tender Napoleon type of sweet cherry.  Large and sweet are the two adjectives that best describe this cherry. It does not ship well so commercial growers steer clear of it, but if you are wanting a delicious cherry to have in your home orchard then Rainier is an excellent choice. It does well in zones 5-8 and does require a pollinizer.  White Gold, Black Gold and Stardust are all excellent pollinizers.
