TangOs® II (Green Peento) Peach on Lovell (Spring 2021)

A green peento (flat) peach with white flesh. Also known as NJF 17.
This tree is large, vigorous, and resistant to bacterial spot. The bloom is modest, but the trees are very productive. TangOs® II is self-fertile; a pollenizer is not required.
A fruit like no other. An outstanding green "donut peach" from the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, TangOs® II ripens 12 days after Redhaven and has greenish-yellow skin over the entire surface of the fruit. This selection has been more challenging to grow compared to TangOs® (Yellow), yet the fruit quality and flavor have ranked very high. The flesh is firm, sweet, and spicy, and TangOs® II will keep its flavor and texture in storage for up to 21 days.
