Gras Ameliorat is a delicious, round, golf ball sized European plum. It ripens in mid September in Ithaca, NY. Truly a delicious sweet plum. It is cold hardy and bacterial spot resistant. It is not resistant to black knot. It will cross pollinate with most European plums. As is true of all European plums, it will not cross-pollinate with any Asian plum.
