A traditional bittersweet cider apple from France. Also known as Belle Fille de la Manche.
"Belle Fille" grown from USDA scion, this is Belle Fille de la Manche. This tree is a triploid and will require two diploid pollenizers for full fertility. It is highly susceptible to fireblight. The fruit is used exclusively in cider making and it is not suitable for fresh eating.
The apple is somewhat flat, and the skin has a red blush and streaking over a greenish-yellow background.
