Redbyrd Bitter Apple Scionwood (Spring 2026)
A cider apple from our neighborhood.
Our tree is propagated with wood from Redbyrd Cider, whose orchards are just down the road from us in Trumansburg, NY. They describe their apple as follows: "medium to large sized bitter sharp, mid season, drops when ripe, plentiful tannins and acidity."
Redbyrd Bitter was discovered as a chance seedling by Eric Shatt.
