Krymsk 7 Cherry Rootstock (Spring 2026)
A semi-standard cherry rootstock that is similar in vigor to Mahaleb.
NOTE: The Krymsk rootstocks are too small to bench graft. They need to be lined out in the field and then chip budded in August.
A semi-standard cherry rootstock that is similar in vigor to Mahaleb. Krymsk 7 is tolerant of a wide range of soils and is both cold hardy and does well in hot conditions. It is precocious and hastens ripening by a few days compared to Mahaleb or Mazzard.
